To use this device, simply place the tip near a device or wire where AC voltage is present. The tester will emit an ear-piercing beep or the tip will glow red, providing a visual indication of high voltage. The frequency of the beeping sound will increase if the device detects a higher voltage.
The tester offers a Dual Range (12-1000 V/48V-1000V) function. By pressing the S button, you can adjust the sensitivity to suit your needs and detect voltage on AC electric throughout the home: outlets, cords, switches, circuit breakers, power strips, and more. The NCV sensor automatically recognizes the voltage and displays it on the bar graph.
